Whipped Lemon Honey Butter

Whipped Lemon Honey Butter is sweet, bright, and lemony. Serve along with baked goods that would pair well with the bright lemon flavor like blueberry muffins or any type of berry-centered bread or cake.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick salted butter softened room temperature
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp. lemon zest
  • 1 tsp. fresh lemon juice

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and honey together until incorporated.
  • Using a zester/microplane, zest the yellow peel of the lemon, avoiding zesting the white pith. Add the lemon zest and fresh lemon juice to the butter.
  • Whip the butter on high for 2 minutes to achieve a silky whipped texture.
  • Keep the butter at room temperature to maintain the smooth texture.
  • Enjoy the bright, zesty flavor and color of this whipped butter alongside baked goods!
